Engagement Session at Wildberry Farm & Market

Let me start by saying how much I adore photographing these two humans. You cannot help but laugh when you're around them because the joy they share is infectious. Katie and I met through our sorority almost 10 years ago and have been friends ever since. She is an incredibly genuine, sweet soul who loves her people hard. In getting to know her and Dustin as a couple over the past two years, I've learned that he is the perfect compliment to Katie in so many ways. He balances her out in all the right areas (ahem, showing up on time...) while cherishing all the things that make Katie who she is. I first started photographing them when they were pregnant with their son two years ago and have had the privilege to document sessions for them three times now.

These two will be saying "I Do" in just a few weeks in Southern A.A. County in true Maryland style with a crab feast reception. For their engagement session earlier this summer, we headed to Wildberry Farm & Market and were lucky enough to have the perfect golden hour light. Wildberry Farm & Market is one of my favorite session locations- it has so much gorgeous outdoor space that provides a variety of natural, rustic backdrops. Katie also brought along an adorable sunhat, which was honestly the perfect summer session accessory. We laughed and joked through the entire session and these beautiful images were the result. I cannot wait to help these two celebrate their upcoming wedding this September and to see how many more adventures life has in store for their little family!
