Hey friends. It's been a minute since I've been able to put some quality time in with this blog. I wrapped up my fall season with a super fun weekend of mini sessions and then life got crazy. We welcomed our second little one in December and then had a very unexpected opportunity to purchase our forever home only 6 weeks later. Adjusting to life as a family of four while simultaneously trying to pack and show your house is... interesting, to say the least. It's definitely been a whirlwind these past few months but the dust is finally starting to settle and I'm ready to show y'all a little bit of what has been happening behind my camera. So let's kick it off with a mini session recap!

Minis were held in two different locations this year, but both had pretty similar vibes. I love me some outdoor, open fields and trees with all their beautiful foliage. There's just something about that gorgeous, golden late afternoon light in the fall that adds a certain magic to sessions.

We had lots of sibling love (and a little rivalry...), cozied up couples, spinning and dancing, snuggles with Mom and Dad, and even a fur baby that got in on the magic. Mini sessions are a whirlwind to shoot but they are honestly so much fun that you don't notice how hard you've been working until the day is wrapped up. Looking back at these images now, I almost forgot that I was 35 weeks pregnant while I was running around like a wild woman shooting these ;-)

I am so thankful to these wonderful families who trusted me with their time and can't wait to bring back minis again soon! For now, enjoy this peek into the gorgeous results.
